PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of obtaining a crosslinked rubber composition improved in durability (fracture resistance and abrasion resistance); and to provide a tire having the rubber composition.SOLUTION: A rubber composition includes a rubber component. The rubber component is synthetic polyisoprene or an isoprene copolymer and includes at least a polymer with a gel fraction of 20% or less.
