PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paramagnetic gas adsorbing material which can adsorb a paramagnetic gas of the amount larger than before and which has excellent adsorbing property.SOLUTION: A paramagnetic gas adsorbing material comprises a metal complex comprising: an iron ion, an organic ligand capable of forming a bidentate ligand with the iron ion, and an isophthalic acid derivative having a substituent which is selected from the groups comprising alkyl, alkoxy, formyl, acyloxy, alkoxycarbonyl, nitro, cyano, amino, monoalkylamino, dialkylamino, acylamino and a halogen atom, on a benzene ring thereof, or 3,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid optionally having the substituent. |
