PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which efficiently manages desktop environments (virtual image files) of client terminals.SOLUTION: An information processing device is applied to a client management system which manages desktop environments of a plurality of client terminals. The information processing device comprises first control means and second control means. The first control means controls processing for creating a first image file which is a disk image file for the desktop environment and does not contain information unique to each of the plurality of client terminals and a difference file for constructing a second image file which contains information unique to each of the plurality of client terminals on the basis of the first image file. The second control means controls processing for deleting the difference file with which the acquisition of the second image file by the corresponding client terminal among the plurality of client terminals is completed.
