PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus specification system which can specify an apparatus connected via the same piping system in an existing system, without stopping the existing system.SOLUTION: An apparatus specification system 101 is a system for specifying an outdoor unit 114a connected with an indoor unit 112a by the same piping system 113a, in an air conditioning system 111 where a plurality of indoor units 112a-112f and outdoor units 114a, 114b are connected with a plurality of piping systems 113a, 113b. A transmitter 121 transmits a predetermined electric signal, i.e., an apparatus specific signal, to the vicinity of piping end connected with the indoor unit 112a. When an electric signal flowing near the piping end connected with the outdoor unit 114a is the apparatus specific signal in the air conditioning system 111, an identification apparatus 141 notifies a user of the fact by displaying information, indicating that the indoor unit 112a and the outdoor unit 114a are connected by the same piping system 113a, on a first display 125. |
