PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply power from a high voltage circuit to a low voltage circuit, and stably continue traveling of a vehicle without stopping auxiliary instruments of the vehicle, even when a power converter fails.SOLUTION: A power supply control apparatus includes: a first switch 6 which is connected between a high voltage circuit including a first accumulator 1 and a low voltage circuit including a second accumulator 2 and auxiliary instruments of a vehicle, normally puts the high voltage circuit and the low voltage circuit in a state of noncontinuity between them and switches it to a state of continuity on receiving a switching command; and a power supply control part 7 which gives an instruction to a generator 3 to switch a normal generation operation of charging the first accumulator 1 to a voltage lowering operation of making power consumed inside the generator 3, when a failure of a power converter 4 is detected, and outputs a switching command to the first switch 6 when a potential difference between the first accumulator 1 and the second accumulator 2 turns to be within a first prescribed voltage range after the voltage lowering operation is conducted. |
