PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of data read-out or data writing failure due to larger deviation of a disc from a parallel state.SOLUTION: A motor comprises: a rotor 3 and a static part 2. The rotor 3 includes: a shaft 31; a rotor holder 32 in a cylindrical shape with a lid and fixed onto the shaft; a rotor magnet 33 held on an inner peripheral surface of the rotor holder; and a disc placement part 35 capable of being placed on a top of the rotor holder. The static part 2 includes a sleeve 21, a sleeve housing 22, a stator 25 and a base member 4. The sleeve housing 22 is in a cylindrical shape fixed onto an outer peripheral surface of the sleeve and has a small diameter part 22a, a large diameter part 22b located in a lower side than the small diameter part, and a caulking part 22c protruding in a lower side than the large diameter part. The stater 25 is on a top of the large diameter part, held by an outer peripheral surface of the small diameter part, and opposing against the rotor magnet in the radial direction. The base member 4 is fixed by the caulking part at a bottom of the sleeve housing and spreading in the radial direction. In the motor, the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter part includes a concave part recessed toward a radial direction at a lower side of the small diameter part than a top end of the small diameter part. |
