The invention relates to an electric motor with a stator housing (2) and an electronic housing (8). A first portion (A) of the electronic housing is arranged radially to the stator housing (2), and a fan (24) is arranged on a first axial end (22) of the stator housing (2). The electronic housing (8) extends beyond the first axial end (22) of the stator housing in an axial direction (X) such that a second electronic housing (8) portion (B), in the interior of which at least one first heat-generating electronic component (58, 60) is arranged, is positioned radially to the fan (24). The invention also relates to a pump assembly with such an electric motor as the drive motor. |
