A portable digital display hardness tester comprises a magnetic sucking disc (3), a support base (32), a force measuring device, a pressure head (24), an electronic circuit board (27), a digital display (5), and a stress application and indentation depth measurement device formed by a hand wheel (9), a rotary encoder (33) and a micrometer thread pair. The support base (32) is provided with the rotary encoder (33) thereon, has a micrometer nut (14) disposed in a hole and the digital display (5) disposed at the front, and is fixed on the magnetic sucking disc (3). A micrometer screw (13) is provided in the micrometer nut (14), a rotating shaft (12) of the rotary encoder (33) is connected to the micrometer screw (13) and rotates with the micrometer screw (13), an upper end of the micrometer screw (13) is connected to the hand wheel (9), and the lower end of the micrometer screw (13) is connected to the force measuring device. A lower end of the force measuring device is connected to the pressure head (24). The hand wheel (9), the micrometer screw (13), the force measuring device, and the pressure head (24) are connected and are coaxial, and can axially move with the rotation of the hand wheel (9). The portable digital display hardness tester can be used for rapidly detecting the hardness of a large part on the spot, and testing the Brinell hardness and Vickers hardness by using a bathymetry. |
