PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for electrolytic baths capable of being used for a long time under a severe condition.SOLUTION: A plug 1 for electrolytic baths opens and closes a bottomless piping provided in a bottom of the electrolytic bath for electrolytically refining a metal, wherein the plug 1 includes: a plug body 2 that comprises lead; a covering section 4 which comprises an organic polymer and at least covers an outside 2A of the plug body 2 that comes into contact with the bottomless piping; and a hanging section 3 that comprises titanium, and a portion of which is embedded in the plug body 2, wherein a part not embedded in the plug body 2 is formed to pull up the plug body 2 covered with a covering section 4. |
