PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a conventional incorrect insertion preventing structure of an electric connector, kinds of key identification are limited, and a narrow choice of connectors to be selected is available when mounting a plurality of connectors to an apparatus.SOLUTION: In a fitting structure of a plug and a receptacle comprising insulating housings and contacts positioned at and fixed to the insulating housings, among combinations of fittable plugs and the receptacles which are obtained by combinations of different key structures in the fitted part of the insulating housings, combinations of the contacts having vertically different pitches, and combinations of the contacts having horizontally different pitches, mutually different combinations of the optional numbers of plugs and receptacles are selected in the incorrect insertion preventing structure 1 of the electric connector. |
