The autobody (1) has a floor structure (3) in area of the passenger compartment. An energy storage (2), seen in a vehicle transverse direction (y), is centrally attached to the lower side of the floor structure. The floor structure extends at the center in a vehicle longitudinal direction (x) seen in the vehicle transverse direction. The floor structure has a downwardly projecting web plate in the vehicle vertical direction (z). The floor structure also has a bulge upwards seen in the vehicle height direction in the region of the energy storage. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle with a slot.
