PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of achieving both input/output characteristics and energy density in a balanced manner at a positive electrode and a negative electrode.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: a positive electrode which includes a positive electrode collector comprising a porous body formed from aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and a positive electrode active material held by the positive electrode collector; and a negative electrode which includes a negative electrode collector comprising a porous body formed from aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and a negative electrode active material held by the negative electrode collector.
