PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand an application status of a recording apparatus where calibration can be executed using a density sensor even when a spectrocolorimetric sensor is not mounted to the recording apparatus.SOLUTION: The recording apparatus includes: a first sensor unit including a density sensor 9 retained by a carriage; and a retention part that retains a second sensor unit including a spectrocolorimetric sensor 10 to be attachable or detachable. When the second sensor unit is mounted to the retention part, calibration can be executed using the second sensor unit. When the second sensor unit is not mounted to the retention part, calibration can be executed using the first sensor unit. |
