PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickening image processing by saving a labor on the rasterize processing of form data each time variable print is performed.SOLUTION: The image processing method for executing color conversion processing to image data in accordance with a color profile before or after executing rasterize processing to image data, and for synthesizing variable data with form data includes: a step (a) of determining which of the variable data and the form data are pertinent to image data in a print job; a step (b) of executing rasterize processing to the image data determined to be the variable data in the step (a) after color conversion processing; a step (c) of determining whether or not the image data determined to be the form data in the step (a) are RIP-processed form data; and a step (d) of, when it is determined that the image data are not the RIP-processed form data in the step (c), executing RIP processing to the form data. |
