摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality determination system and an abnormality determination method for an energization and heating type catalyst apparatus having few technological constraints, and to provide an abnormality determination program.SOLUTION: An abnormality determination system E of an energization and heating catalyst apparatus 17 includes: an energization and heating catalyst apparatus 17; an energization controlling part 60 for controlling energization to a catalyst carrier 17a; an initial resistance value acquisition part 61 for acquiring an initial resistance value R(n) as an energization resistance value at starting energization to the catalyst carrier 17a; a resistance value storing part 62 for storing the initial resistance value R(n) obtained by the initial resistance value acquisition part 61; a resistance difference value calculation part 63 for calculating a resistance difference value &Dgr;R as a difference between the initial resistance value R(n-1) for the previous time stored in the resistance value storing part 62 and the initial resistance value R(n) for this time; and an abnormality determination part 64 for determining occurrence of abnormality in the energization and heating catalyst apparatus 17 when the resistance difference value &Dgr;R calculated by the resistance difference value calculation part 63 exceeds a first predetermined value.
