摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update a learned value of a fuel injection valve to an appropriate value by basically reducing a learning speed of the learned value, and suitably reduce a period in which a reliability of the leaning value of the fuel injection valve deteriorates immediately after assembling the fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: An electronic control unit detects a manner of fluctuation of a fuel pressure with injection of fuel by a fuel injection valve with use of a fuel pressure sensor, and based on a comparison result between a detected temporal waveform that is a temporal waveform of a fuel injection rate calculated from the detection value and a basic temporal waveform, calculates a tendency of deviation of an actual fuel injection characteristics with respect to basic fuel injection characteristics of the fuel injection valve. In addition, when a learned value Gij which compensates for an individual difference of the fuel injection valve is updated, the tendency of deviation is reflected by a predetermined reflection rate R. In this case, when an accumulated value D is less than a predetermined value Dth, the predetermined reflection rate R is set greater compared with a case where the accumulated value is the predetermined value Dth or more.
