The first signal may be transmitted by a first base station. The mobile terminal may be further configured to receive a second signal. The second signal may be transmitted by a second base station. The mobile base station may be further configured to determine a difference in propagation delay between the first and second signals. The mobile terminal may be further configured to determine a second time advance value by correlating the first time advance value with the difference in propagation delay.</p>
