PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of executing processing to deal with cleaning motion.SOLUTION: Provided is a vacuum cleaner including: a cleaner body 5 housing an electric blower 9 for forming an air flow to suck in dust; a motor 19 for driving a rotary brush a suction tool 1 has, the suction tool being connected to the cleaner body 5 through a hose 4 and an extension pipe 2; a cleaning motion condition detecting sensor 32 for detecting a state related to a user's cleaning motion; and a microcomputer 29 for controlling, based on the result of detection by the cleaning motion condition detecting sensor 32, the power to be supplied to at least either one of the electric blower 9 and motor 19. |
