PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper storage device configured to prevent paper jam.SOLUTION: The paper storage device includes a roller, a base section, and a driving section. The roller abuts on an outer peripheral section of a roll section of paper wound in a roll, and rotates along with the rotation of the roll section. The base section includes an inclined section which is inclined with respect to the horizontal direction at a position lower than the roller, and abuts on an outer peripheral section from below, to bring the outer peripheral section into contact with the roller, and can store a slack section of the paper to be fed downward from the roller. The driving section rotates the roller in the rotational direction of the roller when the paper is drawn from the roll section. |
