INTRA-PREDICTION METHOD FOR MULTI-LAYER IMAGES AND APPARATUS USING SAME

An intra-prediction method for multi-layer images is provided. The method comprises the steps of: deriving an intra-prediction mode of a predictive target block of an enhanced layer; generating an alternative sample for an unavailable reference sample of the predictive target block on the basis of a reference layer for the enhanced layer; and generating a predictive block for the predictive target block by using the intra-prediction mode and the alternative sample.
