<p>The invention relates to a wireless flood prevention apparatus for a property, and comprise a controller, wireless sensors and a solenoid valve connected to the water mains. The controller is connected to the solenoid valve and may be battery powered, wherein the batteries are charged by means of a dynamo connected to the water mains. The sensors may be passive infra red sensors and current sensors which detect the presence of a person and electrical demand when electrical devices are turned on. The sensors then send a signal to the controller which sends a signal to the solenoid valve to open. The sensors may be connected to the mains electricity and isolate the water when the property is vacant. The controller constantly monitors the state of the property and enable or isolate the water mains.</p> |
