<p>An apparatus for supporting a boat comprises a support structure having a base 12 and a support pad assembly 20 having at least one engagement pad (24a, Fig 4a) for engaging a surface of a boat. The support pad assembly 20 is movable relative to the base 12 from a first boat engaging position to one or more further boat engaging positions, whereby the area of surface of the boat engaged by the pad in the first position of the support pad assembly can be exposed. The apparatus allows for the entire surface of the boat's hull to be treated. A method of treating a boats hull using the apparatus and an engagement pad that has a length three times that of its height are also disclosed.</p> |
