<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method which can sufficiently change the discharging volume of an ink droplet in gradation printing and which reduces the unevenness of the speed and the volume of the ink droplet discharged from an inkjet head. <P>SOLUTION: The driving method includes the steps of measuring the response characteristic of a meniscus vibration in a nozzle to the driving signal of the inkjet head, and obtaining a driving waveform from the response characteristic and a predetermined virtual meniscus vibration by a calculation. The inkjet head is driven by this driving waveform, thereby sufficiently changing the discharging volume of the ink droplet in the gradation printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
