The invention provides a handle detaching device. The device comprises a connecting shell, as well as a fastener, an elastic element, a lock release button and a cam structure which are arranged in the connecting shell, wherein the fastener comprises a body, a pin rod which is connected with the body and is protruded from a first opening of the connecting shell; the pin rod can penetrate into a fastening hole of an handle at an adjacent side to lock the connecting shell on the side handle; the elastic element is used for pressing the body toward the first opening; the lock release button comprises a press end and a force application end, wherein the press end can shift relative to a second opening of the connecting shell, and the force application end is in contact with the body of the fastener; and the cam structure can transfer force applied by the lock release button to the fastener in a direction different from the moving direction of the lock release button, so that the pin rod is separated from the fastening hole. By the adoption of the handle detaching device, a user can pick up or put a baby in a baby carriage without let or hindrance.
