<p>The object of the invention is a composting latrine (10) and a method for maintaining thereof. A problem of latrines in prior art is, among other things, that they require a difficult displacement of the waste from one place to the other, usually outside of the latrine. In the solution according to the invention, the latrine (10) has a space for two containers (20a, 20b), one of which (20a) is currently for collecting waste and the other (20b) is for composting waste. The collecting container (20a) can be displaced to composting container's (20b) place by displacing inside the space (12) of the latrine. After this, an empty container can be placed in the latrine through the opening (14) in front of the latrine for collecting waste. There is a second opening (15) in the latrine for the removal of the container (20b) containing composted waste.</p> |
