<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire cable branching device for operating a plurality of wheel brake mechanisms arranged on a bottom surface of a mobile body by an operation of one portion. <P>SOLUTION: In this wire cable branching device, an operation wire cable connected to an operation part is branched into a plurality of branched wire cables and is connected to each of the wheel brake mechanisms of the mobile body of the wire cable. In a middle part, a wire branching mechanism connected to terminal parts of both the cables is provided. The wire branching mechanism includes a fixing part for fixing an end part of an outer wire of the operation wire cable and the branched wire cables, and a branching member for fitting an end part of an inner wire to be made movable in the fixing part. The branching member branches and transmits advancing and retreating moving by the inner wire of the operation wire cable as advancing and retreating moving by the inner wire of each branching wire cable to the plurality of branching wire cables.
