PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the upper temperature of a blast furnace and a driving method thereof are provided to stably manage sulfur in the blast furnace by preventing accidents due to damage to a temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the upper temperature of a blast furnace comprises a probe(100), a probe transfer part(200), and a probe penetrating part(300). A temperature sensor is embedded in the probe. The probe transfer part transfers the probe. The probe penetrating part provides a passage through which the probe is inserted into the blast furnace and is attached to the side wall of the blast furnace. |
