PURPOSE: An electric rice cooker and a method for preventing the bubbles inside the electric rice cooker from overflowing are provided to prevent the bubbles from overflowing as the pressure difference exists between the inside and outside of the bubbles and the bubbles are rapidly expanded and burst if the negative pressure is formed in a part of wings and the bubbles of rice water rise by the negative pressure area. CONSTITUTION: An electric rice cooker (100) having a function preventing bubbles from overflowing comprises an outer lid (1), an inner lid (2), and a cover plate (3). An exhaust hole (11) in installed in the outer lid. The inner lid is installed in the lower side of the outer lid and a steam inlet (21) is installed. The cover plate is installed in the lower side of the inner lid and an inlet hole (31) is installed. The exhaust hole, the steam inlet, the inlet hole form a steam pathway and a negative pressure generator (107) is installed inside the steam pathway. |
