PURPOSE: A muting device for a wind instrument is provided to enable a user to play or practice a wind instrument regardless of time and place without generating noise problems by using a muting function in playing the wind instrument. CONSTITUTION: A muting device (100) for a wind instrument includes a muting housing unit, embossing units (40), a muting member, and a noise filter member. The muting housing unit is composed of a plurality of muting drums and a main muting drum (10). The embossing units are formed close to each other on the inner and outer peripheries of the muting drums and the main muting drum so that the contact area of the embossing units and the inside of the muting housing is increased. The muting member is formed on the top surface of the embossing unit and spread or bonded on the inner and outer peripheries of the muting drums and the main muting drum. The noise filter member is interposed between the main muting drum and the muting drums. |
