<p>PURPOSE: A reverse osmosis demineralizer is provided to run the system only by recovering energy of a concentrate without separate pressurizing means. CONSTITUTION: A reverse osmosis demineralizer comprises: a desalination module (215), a high pressure pump (225), a cylinder block (208), a control valve (214), and a pre-processor (202). A concentrate (Q300) coming from the desalination module is flowed to a side of cylinders (206, 207) which does not have a shaft by turns. Salty water (Q100) coming from the pre-processor, which is supposed to be desalted, is flowed to the shaft side of the cylinder. The salty water which collected energy of the concentrate is pressed from the shaft side of the cylinder to a high pressure line (220) by turns, the salty water is boosted only by collecting the energy of the concentrate without a help by other pressuring means, and the salty water can be united to salty water (QW) coming out of a high pressure pump (225), which is supposed to be desalted at high pressure.</p> |
