The device has a careenage (12) fixed at a structure element of a case of a car. An outer side (12a) of the careenage is longitudinally extended under the case to a rear part of the car to facilitate the flow of air. A deflector (14) is placed behind the careenage, and covers a back edge of the careenage that is transversely extended. The edge is shifted vertically upward with respect to the outer side of the careenage by considering a vertical axis of the car. The deflector includes an outer side (14a) leveling with the outer side of the careenage in a zone of the back edge.
