The installation has a fuel receiving zone (3) including a circular support plate (10) for supporting billets (1) i.e. cylindrical billets. The plate is engaged on a fixed vertical central axis. The plate has an upper surface provided with a separation element (12) that is rotated around the central axis to define two billet receiving zones having equal dimensions, on the plate. The plate has a through hole (10') formed at equidistance from its center and its peripheral edges, where diameter of the hole corresponds to diameter of a nozzle of an air inlet (8).
