PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar light emitter and a lighting device which inhibit a shrinkage difference occurring between members in a plane direction due to temperature changes and prevent the emission failure.SOLUTION: A planer emitter 100 includes: an organic EL panel 10 having a transparent substrate 1; a fixture substrate 20 fixing the organic EL panel 10 to a front surface 21, holding the organic EL panel 10, and having a linear expansion coefficient different from that of the transparent substrate 1 of the organic EL panel 10; and a warpage prevention member 40 fixed to a rear surface 22 of the fixture substrate 20. When the linear expansion coefficient of the transparent substrate 1 of the organic EL panel 10 is smaller than the linear expansion coefficient of the fixture substrate 20, a linear expansion coefficient of the warpage prevention member 40 is set so as to be smaller than the linear expansion coefficient of the fixture substrate 20. When the linear expansion coefficient of the transparent substrate 1 of the organic EL panel 10 is larger than the linear expansion coefficient of the fixture substrate 20, the linear expansion coefficient of the warpage prevention member 40 is set so as to be larger than the linear expansion coefficient of the fixture substrate 20. |
