The present invention is a color reproduction method, comprising: setting as input the first color reproduction region on the input side and the second color reproduction region on the output side; applying color correction to colors in the first color reproduction region for reproduction in the second color reproduction region; displaying, in color space, the second color reproduction region and the color reproduction region obtained by applying the color correction to the first color reproduction region so as to make it possible to distinguish between colors constituting the first color reproduction region that have been determined to be inside the second color reproduction region and colors constituting the first color reproduction region that have been determined to be outside the second color reproduction region; making selectable the colors present in the colors outside the displayed second color reproduction region; displaying a user interface for correcting the selected color; determining the amount of correction on the selected color in tandem with operation of the user interface; displaying, if the user interface is operated so that the selected color is on the surface of or inside the second color reproduction region, the fact that the selected color is on the surface of or inside the second color reproduction region; and applying the correction amount and generating color conversion information for converting the first color reproduction region to the second color reproduction region.
