PURPOSE: A dual monitor apparatus for vehicle using an ear-microphone terminal of a portable terminal as a communication medium is provided to use an audio output terminal and a microphone input terminal of a linked device as a data interface means, thereby connecting and using a separate touch panel monitor. CONSTITUTION: A touch display unit (100) displays a screen and receives the input of a user. An input and output (I/O) control board (200) communicates with a device mounted on the vehicle to control the device. A trip controller (300) communicates with an internal device of the vehicle to control the internal device. An input selector (400) selects the input of devices which communicate with the trip controller and the I/O control board. A signal converter (600) analyzes the selected input signal, converts the selected input signal into an image signal, and converts a signal inputted by the touch of a user on a touch display unit into a control signal. A control unit (700) controls the control screen of the devices provided to the touch display unit according to a state of the vehicle.
