Provided are: a steel sheet for hot pressing, said steel sheet being capable of yielding, without fail, a hot-pressed member which exhibits excellent adhesion of a coating, excellent resistance to perforation corrosion, and excellent resistance to lap-joint corrosion; a manufacturing process therefor; and a process for producing a hot-pressed member, using the same. A steel sheet for hot pressing, characterized by bearing a Zn-based plating layer having a deposit weight of 10 to 90g/m2 on a steel sheet such that the mean ferrite grain diameter at the surface of the steel sheet is 20mum or less.
