An inner wall surface (103) of a peripheral wall (102) of the oil pan (100) is continuous with an inner wall surface (23a) of a crank case (23). A top end edge (123) of a peripheral wall (122) of an inner oil pan (120) is separated from an inner wall surface (103) of the oil pan (100) and the inner wall surface (23a) of the crank case (23).</p>
