PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method using an anisotropic conductive material or the like, in which conductive particles are excellently burst in the anisotropic conductive connection between fine pitches, a connection resistance value from an initial stage of the anisotropic conductive connection is low, and repulsion of conductive particles in the anisotropic conductive connection with passage of time is reduced, thereby improving connection reliability.SOLUTION: An anisotropic conductive joint body 8 is formed by connecting a terminal of a first electronic component 7 and a terminal 2 of a second electronic component via an anisotropic conductive material 4. The terminal of the first electronic component has a hard metal part 6 and a soft metal part 5 which is softer than the hard metal part. The anisotropic conductive material has conductive particles 3. The soft metal part is in contact with the conductive particles. The hard metal part is in contact with wiring of the first electronic component. Hardness of the hard metal part is Hv100 to 650 and the hardness of the soft metal part is Hv10 to 100. The hardness of the conductive particles is 5,880 N/mmto 26,460 N/mm. |
