The protrusion device has upper and lower jaw splints (10,12). A projection (16) is arranged in upper jaw splint in the direction of the lower jaw splint, facing the region (14) of the cutting teeth/corner teeth. The contact surface (20) is arranged on an inner side of the lower jaw splint, in the region (22) of the cutting teeth. The projection abuts against contact surface for positioning the lower jaw splint relative to the upper jaw splints. The entire projection is interchangeable for varying the position between the splints.
