PURPOSE: A method for fabricating thin cord yarn with shape stability is provided to produce thin yarn with high strength, high abrasion resistance, and shape stability, which is used for a kite string, a string for adjusting blind, a fishing gut, a high strength industrial string, dental floss, and a parachute string. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating thin cord yarn having one or more filaments comprises the steps of: twisting filaments to have a K1 value of 0.1837763/D1n or less; twisting the filaments to have a K1 value of 0166819/D2n to 0.3183099/D2n; and twisting the filaments to have K3 value of 0.0278485/D3 to 0.2968288/D3.
