DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING DEGREE OF INTEREST AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further correctly estimate a degree of user's interest to viewing content.SOLUTION: Contribution information to a broadcast program which a user views is received from a micro blog service server 300, user'biological information is received from a biological information acquisition device 200 and change amounts of the contribution information and the biological information at every time are calculated. The number of change characteristics that the change amount in calculated changes of the contributed information at every time exceeds a threshold is counted as the number of climax times. The number of changes in which the change amount in calculated changes of the contribution information and the biological information at every time exceeds the threshold and change timings are mutually synchronized is counted as the number of tuning times. The rate of the number of tuning times to the number of climax times is calculated as information showing the degree of user's interest to the broadcast program.
