Provided is a secondary cell system capable of rapidly sensing when a lithium-ion secondary cell has entered a region of degradation according to a t-rule. This lithium-ion secondary cell system has a lithium-ion secondary cell, an AE sensor for sensing an acoustic emission signal (AE signal) generated inside the lithium-ion secondary cell, an AE signal detector for detecting the AE signal from the AE sensor, and a controller to which a signal from the AE signal detector is inputted, and the controller outputs a signal indicating degradation of the lithium-ion secondary cell when the number of AE events occurring in a low-voltage region in a signal charge/discharge cycle of the lithium-ion secondary cell is equal to or greater than a threshold value. |
