<p>The embodiments of the present invention, involving communication art, provide a method and apparatus for interference coordination between the base stations. The method comprises: as the function module of the UE to access the macro base station, the micro base station periodically enquires whether there is a victim UE, and if there is, the control information is transmitted between the micro base station and the macro base station by the air interface for interference coordination to the victim UE. By using the air interface to exchange part or all of the control information, the required control information is exchanged between the macro base station and the micro base station with little transmission delay, flexible layout, low delay, so as to enable dynamic interference coordination. By dynamic scheduling for interference coordination, system performance is improved, i.e. system throughput and resource utilization is improves. In addition, it only needs to modify the function of the base station, the current UE without any modification, and backward compatibility of the UE is maintained.</p> |
