PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device which converts alternating currents having different phases transmitted from a generator, and is configured to control a rotation operation of a rotor without considerably increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: A power conversion device includes a bridge rectification circuit 201 and a control section 300 to control the bridge rectification circuit. In the bridge rectification circuit 201, alternating currents having different phases on the basis of current of a coil in a generator which flows according to a rotation operation of a rotor in the generator are inputted to at least a pair of input terminals, and a direct current is outputted to a pair of output terminals. The control section 300 controls the rotation operation of the rotor in the generator by receiving a first detection signal outputted by first detection means that detects an output value according to a rotational speed of the rotor in the generator and a second detection signal outputted by second detection means that detects a DC voltage outputted by the bridge rectification circuit 201, and by performing switching between a rectification mode in which the bridge rectification circuit 201 outputs a direct current and a current consumption mode in which the bridge rectification circuit 201 and the coil form a closed loop. |
