The present invention provides a construction form and a method for preparing and using the construction form. The construction form comprises a compacted mixture which includes a phosphate agent and a starting material, wherein the starting material is selected from the group consisting of soil, soil-containing compositions, mine tailings, mill tailings and combinations thereof. The construction form may include other additives such as debris, fly ash and/or metal oxide agent, as well as a water proofing agent. Preferably, the construction form has at least one interlocking member to facilitate the joining of different construction forms together. The method of the present invention provides a process for making such construction forms and in its most basic form involves mixing a starting material with a phosphate agent and compacting the resulting mixture. The resulting construction form has excellent compressive strength, durability and workability. |
