PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trolley wire wear measuring instrument for simply determining whether reflection light from a trolley wire sliding surface is correctly returned.SOLUTION: The trolley wire wear measuring instrument provided with a line sensor 1 installed on a vehicle 4 such that a scan line crosses an illuminated trolley wire 3, a line sensor image creation part for creating a line sensor image formed by arranging brightness signals of the scan line acquired by the line sensor 1 time sequentially, and a trolley wire wear part width calculation part for performing image processing of the line sensor image formed by the line sensor image creation part to calculate wear width of the trolley wire 3 has a gray value map creation part for calculating a pixel gray value within the wear width of the trolley wire 3 to create a gray value map obtained by performing a gradation plot of the pixel gray value on each pixel of a fluctuation range map of the trolley wire 3 as grayness. |
