PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "voice input device" which outputs voice for confirming input contents so as to be easily confirmed by a user.SOLUTION: Voice uttered by a user is voice-recognized and a recognition character string is generated (a). The recognition character string is analyzed, and a character string inputted by the voice uttered by the user is identified as input contents for each of a plurality of items set beforehand (b). For each item, a sentence in which an item name and the input contents are successively described in this order is generated as a confirmation sentence in the form of specifying different characters to a part describing the item name in the confirmation sentence and a part describing the input contents in the confirmation sentence (c). Synthetic voice for reading the confirmation sentence is generated while switching character-classified phoneme data to be used in voice synthesis to character-classified phoneme data of the character specified to the part for each part of the confirmation sentence, and is outputted from a speaker 209 (d). |
