A tilt device for a steering column is provided to prevent an impact caused by a car collision from transferring to a driver through changing the mounting position of a tilt lever. A tilt device(100) for a steering column comprises a steering column having a steering shaft(220) and a tube(240) surrounding the steering shaft, and a tilt lever fixedly mounted on the steering column. The tilt device further includes a lower hinge(300) installed at a lower portion of the steering column, a shroud(400) mounted on an upper portion of the steering column, and an actuating member(500). The shroud is formed with a guide hole(420) at one side of the shroud. The actuating member is installed on a lower portion of the shroud and vertically slides to adjust an angle of the steering column. |
