Closed system for the culture of algae and microalgae, comprising: at least one receptacle (1) connected via the lower part thereof to a base (2) and by the upper part thereof to a cover (3), which may be movable in the manner of a lid, these elements forming a reactor (4) containing the biological mass. A rotor system (8) located inside the reactor (4) formed by at least one shaft (5) parallel to the receptacle (1) to which are connected, perpendicularly, at the upper end thereof, at least two upper spokes (7A, 7B) and, at the lower end thereof, at least two lower spokes (6A, 6B), there being at least two illumination devices (9A, 9B) fastened via the upper part thereof to one of the at least two upper spokes (7A, 7B) and, via the lower part thereof, to one of the at least two lower spokes (6A, 6B), and there being at least two gas inlets (10A, 10B) installed in each one of the at least two lower spokes (6A, 6B). The rotor system (8) in turn has at least one lower ring (13) that connects the at least two lower spokes (6A, 6B) and at least one upper ring (14) that connects the at least two upper spokes (7A, 7B). The illumination devices (9) are arranged between the at least two lower spokes (6A, 6B) and the at least two upper spokes (7A, 7B) and also between the at least one lower ring (13) and the at least one upper ring (14). The rotor system (8) turns together with all the components thereof about the axis of the receptacle (1), promoting the mixing and homogenization of the culture medium and facilitating the diffusion of light and gases over the entire biological mass.
