PURPOSE: A landmark offering method of an on line game and a device thereof are provided to install a landmark designated by a user at a virtual space of an on-line game for easily noticing a certain position and the information thereof. CONSTITUTION: A landmark providing device determines the generation of a landmark (S100) and if a landmark generation signal is received, the landmark providing device enters a landmark configuring screen for generating user landmark (S200). If the landmark is generated, a landmark function for each landmark is configured (S300), landmark applying object is configured (S400). Whether to add another landmark is determined (S500) and when it is determined not to add the landmark, whether a user begins a game is determined (S600). If the game is started, the landmark providing device determines whether a landmark use signal is received from a user terminal is determined (S700). If the landmark use signal is received, the landmark providing device indicates the landmark selected by the user on a map at the position selected by the user (S800). The landmark providing device determines whether the game is terminated after the landmark is indicated (S900).
